ABOUT US > CNI production FACILITIES print

From natural gums and colloids, carefully selected and imported, CNI produces one of the world's most extensive ranges of high quality nutritional or technological ingredients for the agro-food industries. CNI activity is located in two plants: Rouen and Serqueux, using the latest cutting edge technology.

rOUEN PLANT

Ideally located close to Le Havre and Rouen, two of the French most prominent commercial harbours, CNI Rouen plant is the starting point for the raw natural gums and colloids arriving from around the world.

Raw gum is received in Rouen where it is ground and calibrated. Once ground, calibrated gum is sent to the Serqueux site, to be physically purified and transformed.

SERQUEUX PLANT

Located in Serqueux, 50 km North of CNI Rouen headquarters, CNI plant is the largest and the most advanced natural vegetable gum processing plant in the world.

ISO 9001 certified, CNI Serqueux plant complies with the highest standards of quality, and has implemented a rigorous environmental policy.

Throughout the process, CNI is able to establish traceability of the quality of its products. Personnel trained in quality norm, control and identify the different categories of gums harvested. Tests are made throughout the purification of the product. CNI has its own physical and chemical testing laboratory and bacteriological laboratory. This special equipment allows CNI to carry out all its quality controls. This involvement from harvesting of the raw product to the delivery of atomized powders has enabled CNI to obtain ISO 9001 certification.

To answer its customers' needs, CNI offers a large variety of packaging ranging from 1kg sachets to 25kg sacks, 100kg drums, 1000kg disposable flexible containers, etc.
