COMPOSITION

 

Oenogum™ R is a purified Seyal Acacia Gum, specially designed to provide roundness to filtered red wines . Oenogum™ R is particularly suitable to fine filtrations (up to 0,65 µm) because it filters easily and improves productivity by avoiding any sealing problems.

USES
 

Recommended dosage: 10 to 30g/hl. (Please consult your oenologist) according to the objective. A preliminary laboratory test is recommended in order to evaluate the best-suited dose.

In the case of a filtration at 0,65 µm or more: OENOGUM™ R can be used after fining, when the wine has settled, 72 hours before the last filtration treatment, in order to get an homogenous repartition.

Thanks to its high microbiological quality, OENOGUM™ R may also be added at the time of bottling, when the last filtrations have been carried out. In this case, OENOGUM S is previously diluted at 20% in the wine or water

ADVANTAGES
 

OENOGUM® R contains acacia arabinogalactans, that efficiently realize the complexation of tannins from red wine, and leads to an astringency decrease, wine softening and an improved roundness feeling.

Thanks to the complexation of polyphenols and anthocyans, OENOGUM® R stabilizes the coloring matters and provides colour stabilisation and roundness . Easy to use, OENOGUM R dissolves instantly in wine. OENOGUM® R effects are immediate and stable over time.
