COMPOSITION
 

Oenogum™ S FiltraClear is an atomised Senegal Acacia Gum powder, with guaranteed arabinogalactans content. Oenogum™ S FiltraClear is particularly suitable to stabilise ultra-filtrated wines (up to 0,45 µm) because it has a low fouling index and a very low turbidity (0,25 NTU at 20 g/hl).

USES
 

Recommended dosage: 10 to 30g/hl. (Please consult your oenologist) according to the objective. A preliminary laboratory test is recommended in order to evaluate the best-suited dose.

In the case of a filtration at 0,45 µm or more: OENOGUM™ S FiltraClear can be used after fining, when the wine has settled, 72 hours before the last filtration treatment, in order to get an homogenous repartition.

Thanks to its high microbiological quality, OENOGUM™ S FiltraClear may also be added at the time of bottling, when the last filtrations have been carried out. In this case, OENOGUM S FiltraClear is previously diluted at 20% in the wine or water.

•  Cu++ and Fe++ precipitations.

•  Proteic precipitations

Oenogum™ S FiltraClear provides also colour stabilisation and roundness:

•  Stabilisation of colour.

•  Astringency decrease and wine softening.

Oenogum™ S FiltraClear improves the bubbles quality and fineness of sparkling wines.
