Recognized as the most efficient protecting colloid, CNI Acacia gums are widely used for the encapsulation of liposoluble bases. The various encapsulation techniques, such as micro-encapsulation, spray drying, adsorption, coacervation or extrusion are generally applied to the following products :

  • aromatic compositions (essential oils, plan essences);
  • oleoresin spices (natural colorants); fruit juices; vitamins;
  • polyunsaturated fatty acids;
  • enzymes, bacteria, yeasts;
  • acids, trace elements;
  • mineral oils;
  • pesticides.

There are numerous advantages in using CNI Acacia gums, among which figure :

  • natural, plant-based product which has not been chemically modified;
  • functionality reproducible from one batch to another;
  • low-calorie non-cariogenic colloid;
  • taste-free;
  • fibre which is soluble in cold water, low viscosity;
  • guaranteed without genetically modified organisms;
  • excellent oil retention,
  • reduction of superficial oil on the encapsulated product
  • and stability against oxidation.

CNI defines specific functionalities from various botanical origins available on the market. Diversification of supply sources means that gums are subject to rigorous selection according to usages.

T he ultimate in encapsulation, developed using an innovative processing technology, Encapcia™ is 100% acacia gum, all natural and GMO-free. ENCAPCIA™ , the next generation of acacia gum, combines enhanced emulsifying properties with superior film-forming capacity.

C

INSTANTGUM™ C protects oil components thanks to its coating properties. The spray powder obtained has remarkable rheological and coating properties. INSTANTGUM™ C offers the best value for money on the market. It gives the finished product unequalled properties compared with powders spraydried on modified starches.

SB

Used for spraydrying in cases where a light color is sought, INSTANTGUM™ SB improves retention of volatile elements and reduces the hygroscopicity of dried products.
